Arrival in San Francisco

Here I am San Francisco!

The trip was OK… as long as you can enjoy the taste of the economy class meal. (something my Italian’s colleague would call a bad joke, but that airlines catering calls a risotto) and the comfort of the seat (shrunk by some invasion of my  neighbor’s body over the armrest).  Anyway, the customs let us pass the border and the check in at the hotel was fine, as expected.

I have been strolling. San Francisco has not changed that much since the last time I came. I hiked up to the Coit Tower hill and from there enjoyed the sunset over the Bay Area. No fog, so we clearly see the Golden Gate and Alcatraz in the background. Going down the numerous stairs, I ended up in the Italian neighborhood and then going back to the hotel via Chinatown nearby the Transamerica Pyramid. It’s good to be back in California.

Tomorrow serious things will start, first, at dawn, with DevNation sessions in the morning and then having the Red hat summit opening keynotes in the afternoon.
